"You won't see me without knowing what to look for.
Blessed or trained eyes. Blink and you'll miss it."
Ohhh this is so interesting! There's something about Sadalsuud... When scrying or just feeling out vibes in someone, I can feel Sadalsuud's influence pretty strongly but it also generally feels somewhat elusive, difficult to demarcate and explain. I'll know it's there but couldn't tell you why, whereas some other stars show up in more defined ways (I see flowers blooming for Alphecca, a playful smirk for Castor, etc).
This was such an interesting read, thank you so much for sharing this gnosis. I really dig the image you drew!
That's really interesting! That feels about right to me; for me it feels almost like a structural, or process-oriented way of seeing, where it's not the material itself but how it changes over time. For me Sadalsuud definitely also shows up as water; at least today, all day, it's been heavy rain with running water past my window.
Forgot to mention in my other comment that this really reminds me of Manilius writing about Aquarius, such a strong emphasis on water there!
I have more experience interacting with Sadalmelek and just remembered a friend of mine who has Sadalmelek on the Nadir and who lives in a place with a fresh water source in the garden. So literal!
Pleasure, was just talking with friends about this article and we were saying how cool it was to read gnosis of that type, I haven't often seen it shared like this.
Great text. I've been using the astrology dices as you recommend. Once asked DA what it's like, what it does, what it likes and I got Jupiter in Sag in the 11th - talk about wealth and blessings! Intuitively I was also drawn to psalms on justice, prosperity and protection. Those ones gave me the saturnine vibe that is also connected to DA.
As someone who has engaged with Deneb Algedi for over a year (with a mini shrine with evil eye stuff, interestingly, as well as Sphere+Sundry kolonia), I have experienced nudges of social obligation in the form of finding issues on public transport and reporting them. I am also in a paid job that is befitting of Their nature, namely a school crossing guard. To me, DA has a quality of upholding elements of the social contract, as well as personal prudence (though to a lesser extent). On a more omen-like vibe, I found and purchased a dark blue bandana at an op shop at around the Sol-DA conjunction.
Much of what you brought out here reminds me of some gnosis I've gotten about Saturn generally, especially regarding silent administration, the keeping of boundaries, and "not going to war unless you have to". I've written about Saturn and Mars sharing the story of War in that way as malefics - Saturn being the siege and attrition side of things, or even preferring to leverage a trade war instead of overt bloodshed. I feel like you plugged right into the Saturnian nature of Aquarius with this process.
"The throne is not for whiners!" - patently Saturnian.
"Making your own luck" I have specifically described as a Saturnian trait before.
"If the people saw what it takes to create prosperity, they would be horrified." The idea of masking 'how the sausage is made' is also very on brand for the Old Man.
To bring Saturn into these perspectives I think only reinforces the validity of your contact with this intelligence.
Still stranger personal syncs: I began writing a poem back in the spring of 2021, which has sat incomplete, and mostly unapproachable until yesterday. I wrote more into it, but the second-to-last line in the poem is "the river cuts the borders". That part of the poem is about the natural boundaries drawn by rivers, and our artificial trespass upon them with contracted dominion. A whole bunch of stuff seemed to click into place yesterday, but I've had your article open in a tab for almost 2 weeks now, and just got around to reading it this morning! What a sync!
I did not expect to fall into the stream here (pun fully intended). Thank you for sharing your lovely process.
Fascinating piece and quite reassuring - I recently made talismans of Sadalsuud and the contact leading up to their creation held many syncs with your communications described in your article. The coins, the administrative magic, even the thalweg relationship with Daneb Algedi. I’m in the process of setting the talismanic stones (aquamarine) in amphorae shaped settings. Both (well, practically all) design elements dictated by the spirit of the star.

That's fascinating, and I love that! Thank you for sharing your experience with DA!

Woooow, the hits just kept coming with this one.
